bake cakes for money

Cakes are great. They are also exempt from VAT which makes them taste even better (actually they are zero rated but you don't want me to go into specifics). If you not only like cakes but also enjoy baking, then make some and sell them for money.

There's a big demand for home-made cakes, and they definitely taste better than the mass produced supermarket ones. The can be sold at craft fairs, fetes, car boots, farmers markets etc etc.

Just ensure that the cost of the ingredients and time involved are less than the selling price, and you will make a nice tidy sum. You also can only do this on what the Law calls a "casual and limited" basis, otherwise you will find yourself having to put details of the ingredients on the side and all other manner of legislation. But as long as you are only doing it every now and then to make some exrta cash you will be fine.
