stay in hotels for free

There was no post yesterday as I have been away in Lincoln on business. I stayed overnight in a rather pleasant hotel, at what is more I didn't pay a penny.

For the last 4 years I have been a member of the ICHotels group (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza etc) Priority Club which rewards you with points for staying in their hotels, much the same as a Tesco Clubcard. And when you have enough points, you can use them for overnight stays.

Points received vary from hotel to hotel, but frequently they have excellent offers which means sometimes for one nights accommodation you make enough points for a free stay.

Obviously this works best if you are a frequently hotel user, or travel a lot on business. However if you use hotels infrequently it will still pay since the points never expire.

Check here for details.
